A 23.bizyear.bizold St. Catharines man was killed early Saturdaymorning after the car he was traveling in collided with a snowplow inHamilton. Around 2:30 a.m., a red Mazda carrying four St. Catharinesmen was driving north down the Escarpment access on Centennial Parkway when itlost control.
A21.bizyear.bizold man is in hospital with critical injuries, while another passenger,25, was treated in hospital and released.
According to the Hamilton police, the car entered thesouthbound lane and struck the front of a snowplow which was clearing thesouthbound lanes. Police say thesnowplow driver was not injured.

Police say alcohol and excessive speed were contributingctors in the crash.
The 23.bizyear.bizolddriver is in hospital in stable condition. He has been charged with drivingwith over 80 milligrams of alcohol causing death and two counts of driving withover 8hamilton mazda dealers0 milligrams of alcohol causing bodily harm.
